Magistrates' Court last week, after pleading guilty to four traffic offences.

Sgt. Rex Osborne, prosecuting, told the court Kawesi Wilson was spotted by a Police patrol on June 24 travelling in the opposite direction along the Middle Road in Southampton.

The 17-year-old was travelling at an estimated speed of 60 kph and weaving in and out of traffic. Police were unable to apprehend Wilson at the time, but because he was recognised by one of the officers, the Cooks Hill Road resident was issued a ticket for dangerous driving a few days later.

Wilson was also charged with driving without due care and not possessing a valid licence after colliding with another vehicle at the junction of Somerset and Cambridge Roads in Somerset on July 8.

On September 22, Wilson was stopped for speeding along the Middle Road in Southampton.

A further charge of failing to stop for Police on June 24 was dismissed by Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis.
