The orientation schedule has been divided alphabetically according to students' last names and according to their class year.

Year Three students whose last names begin with A through M should report to the school for an 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. session today. Those in the same year with last names beginning with N through Z will have orientation from 1 to 5 p.m.

Orientation for Year Four students with last names of A to L will be held tomorrow from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Those with last names beginning with M through Z will have orientation from 1 to 5 p.m. that day.

Year Five students with surnames from A through J will have orientation from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday. Those with surnames from K through Z will go through orientation from 1 to 5 p.m. on the same day.

And all Year Six students will have orientation from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

on Thursday.

The orientation sessions will involve a 20-minute address by principal Ernest Payette and an explanation of orientation.

Then students will be split into groups for 20-minute sessions involving a "getting to know you activity'', an overview of programmes and services, a question generating session, student schedules/course reviews, tours, photo identification, and locker assignments.

All students -- who should go to the front entrance of the school where they will be met by school officials -- must sign in 15 minutes prior to the start of the orientation.
