Alan Douglas' all-Bermuda team overcame a 25-point deficit at the halfway mark to post a fine victory over Mike Aliotta's team in the Knockout Teams

Aliotta's team consisted of two former United States internationals, but there was little they could do about the strong second-half showing from the local side, who advance to the quarter-finals.

Aliotta's team consisted of two former United States internationals, but there was little they could do about the strong second-half showing from the local side, who advance to the quarter-finals.

Elsewhere, the Barrett team -- who feature locals Jean Bath and Margie Way -- defeated Dalzell's team.

Douglas' team now face the fancied Mukherjee line-up who eliminated the team captained by Bermuda's Jack Rhind. The other all-Bermuda team, led by Frank Ramlal, also tasted defeat.

ATHLETICS ATH Bermudian Terrance Armstrong anchored his team, Rider College, to a school record time while qualifying for the IC4A Track and Field Championships last weekend in Princeton, New Jersey.

Armstrong was also third in the 800 metres in 1:54.64, which Roskiewicz hopes will open the door to qualify him for the Millrose Games on February 4.
