In a bid to deal with increasing numbers, organisers have decided to divide athletes into additional age groups -- a move Bermuda Pacers coach Cal Simons feels will make the event much safer.

Age groups are 4, 5, 6, 7, 8-9, 10-12 and 13-15 years old for boys and girls.

The top three finishers in each division will receive cedar plaques while each competitor completing their races will be awarded with a tee shirt.

Among last year's top runners returning are Tyler Abbott, Danielle Watson, Flora Duffy and Kimberly Fisher Deadline for entries is 5.00 p.m. today.
