Court yesterday for possessing 5.72 grams of cannabis and drug equipment.

Craig A. Joyiens pleaded guilty to both charges.

Sgt. Kenrick James, told the court that on March 4 officers went to Joyiens' home.

"He answered the door, said nothing to the Police and walked to the bedroom where his wife was. The room smelled of burnt cannabis,'' he said. "When asked by Police if he had any illegal drugs Joyiens told them there were seven bags behind the bed and another partially used in a ladies handbag.'' Drug equipment was also found.

Mr. Philip Perinchief, defending, told the court that Joyiens had no previous convictions and he admitted his guilt.

"He's married and has a child on the way and he has asked for leniency with the fine.''
