Residents wishing to bring family and friends from the UK to Bermuda can therefore pay as little as 349 for travel midweek until the end of April.

"These World Offer fares are put out at a relatively short notice for travel originating in the UK,'' local BA manager Philip Troake said.

"We are aware that many local residents bring family and friends from Britain and are delighted to make it possible for these tickets to be purchased here as well.'' Travel, however, will be restricted during the Easter period.

Tickets must be purchased by January 28. Normal advance purchase restrictions apply.
