MC Shipping reports strong earnings

MC, which operates its container ship and multi-purpose fleet from Monaco, said it had revenues for the three months to September 30 of $6.2 million, down 2.4 percent from 1995.

Benor, which has a fleet of 22 vessels, expects to make a profit of $4-5 million, compared to a loss of $2.3 million in 1995 as a result of improved daily charter rates.
Benor reported a net profit of $1.2 million in the third quarter on revenue of $44.8 million. Net income for the first nine months of the year is $2 million.
Benor has also added a newly-built tanker, the Tribute , and the second hand Marina to its fleet. -- Lloyd's List
