Prosecutor Insp. Peter Duffy said the amount of heroin involved was .11 grams, amounting to 17 "twists''. The drug was 51 percent pure, he said.

Dennis Webster Warner also denied possession of drug equipment, including a plastic straw, paper "twists'' and a tile.

The alleged offences were said to have occurred in Pembroke on March 5 and May 11.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis bailed Warner in the sum of $800 plus a surety.

As Warner had not been able to get a lawyer, Mr. Francis said he would give him three more weeks to find one. He ordered him to reappear in plea court on September 8 when a trial date will be set.
