Assistant Editor Adrian Robson is to assume responsibility for the Gazette sports department, a post he held previously between 1984 and 1987, while Sports Editor Dexter Smith will take up a similar position at The Mid-Ocean News.

Liz Cadell, the weekly newspaper's current Sports Editor, will join the Gazette's team of sub-editors.

The moves are aimed at accommodating a number of personal and corporate interests.
