Police said the snatch occurred when a black man with a slim build and dark pants rode by the couple driving a red motorcycle with a loud muffler.

The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Tee Street. The couple's bag contained a camera and souvenirs. It is believed that a blue truck witnessed the crime. Police are asking for witnesses to telephone Central CID at 295-0011.
