at the end of the final round of the Bermuda PGA Championships at Port Royal yesterday.

The Ocean View professional finished with an eight over score of 292, 11 strokes ahead of his nearest challenger Kim Swan. That was enough to earn him the first prize of $1,500, but not quite as impressive as his record 26-stroke victory at Mid Ocean last time out.

St George's pro Swan picked up $1,000 after a final round 72 -- the best of the day -- lifted him above Eardley Jones, who had to be satisfied with the $800 third prize. Keith Smith hit a second successive 77 to finish in fourth place on 310.

In all, half the field of 16 pros picked up at least some cash for their efforts.
