A local man was riding along Serpentine Road when an insect flew into his eye, Police said. He was distracted and collided with a car, suffering cuts and abrasions.

Two female visitors were also injured in accidents. A New York visitor coming out of Serpentine Road onto Pitts Bay Road lost control of her cycle and hit the opposite wall. She suffered a fractured ankle.

A New Jersey woman broke her arm and collar bone when she came down Rose Hill in St. George's and careered across York Street, hitting the opposite wall.
