At about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, a car was in a head-on collision with the two cycles. A 35-year-old passenger on the first cycle fractured her elbow and broke her leg and a 39-year-old passenger on the second cycle required 17 stitches for a gash to her leg.

They were treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later released.

In a separate incident, a 67-year-old Paget man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after hitting a wall at around 7 p.m. on Princess Street.
