A rise of 2.98 percent -- slightly above the rate of inflation -- was agreed following negotiations between the Government and the Bermuda Public Services Association.
And both sides in the talks agreed that they were happy with the final outcome.
Government chief negotiator Judith Hall-Bean said: "There has been a feeling of mutual respect and appreciation for each point of view.'' The agreement was one of the final tasks performed by outgoing BPSA president Eugene Blakeney, who has now retired.
The increase applies to all white collar Government employees.
