East End ferries have been cancelled from today until further notice, according to the Department of Marine and Port Services.

The St. George's and St. David's services had to be cancelled, according to Marine and Ports officials because of technical issues with some of the ferries.

Apologising for the inconvenience, the Department said it would advise the public when the service would resume.
