The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) enjoyed a good day's trading, closing up 13.79 points (0.27 percent) yesterday.

The Index finished at 5,134.29 with a total of 49,269 shares changed hands and a turnover of $1,005,369.50.

The only company to experience any change was BELCO Holdings Ltd., whose share value increased 75 cents (3.6 percent) to close on $21.75, with 200 shares traded.

Butterfield Bank, meanwhile, traded 49,069 shares.

The BSX Insurance Index continued its good run of form with a 0.44 percent rise in value to finish at 1,225.96.
