Musical ambassadors the Bermuda Strollers will miss out on playing a popular US charity event after it was cancelled, according to The Boston Globe newspaper.
The Caribbean music group, which is popular in the US, was slated to play a fund-raising festival for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Plymouth, Massachusetts on Labour Day.
The performance, paid for by the Bermuda Department of Tourism, was set to top off the day of live music and craft demonstrations.
However, according to The Boston Globe, the event has been abandoned by the charity for failing to raise enough in previous years.
