St. George’s Police Station will officially reopen on Tuesday, January 16 following renovation work.

The station closed on Tuesday for the work to be carried out by the Department of Works and Engineering.

There will be no walk-in counter service at the station until January 16 but members of the public can use a phone outside to speak to an officer at Southside Police Station 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Anyone needing Police assistance can also visit Southside Police Station at the old number two gate of the former US Naval Air Station. The building is blue-green in colour and is marked as a Police Station. The direct telephone number is 293-2222.
