Bermuda's number one golfer Michael Sims will be action today in the Nationwide $500,000 Utah EnergySolutions Championship, in Utah.
With eight events remaining and so much on the line, including 25 PGA Tour cards for 2008 and a top-60 spot for others, the field is stacked with 16 of the year's tournament winners. For the ninth consecutive year Willow Creek Country Club, outside Salt Lake City, will host the Nationwide Tour. Sims will tee off at 12.50 p.m. at the tenth hole.
The 28-year-old, who pulled out of last month's National Mining Association Pete Dye Classic in West Virginia, has now earned a total of $36,585 so far this year, after playing in 22 tournaments and making the cut eight times. He is 107th on the 2007 money list.
