Regular callers keep docks busy
Cargo freighter Oleander arrived from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, on Sunday, with 190 dry containers, including 44 refrigerated. In addition, 13 trailers, one truck, three boats on a trailer, one cement trailer and one belt loader, were included. It sailed around 8 a.m. yesterday.
This morning, cement vessel, Fayal Cement will arrive and discharge its load in Dockyard, and depart tomorrow afternoon.
Bermuda Islander is expected to grace our shores tomorrow morning, before heading out on Friday morning. It will bring 150 containers, including 26 refrigerated ones. The Somers Isles cargo ship will not be visiting the Island this week, apart of its usual runs, according to its local shipping agent.
Cruise ship wise, Azamara Journey and Empress of the Seas pulled into the Island on Monday, while the Explorer of the Seas, Norwegian Crown and the Norwegian Majesty arrived yesterday.
Norwegian Dawn is expected here tomorrow morning before departing later that day. Passenger and crew counts were also not available from the local shipping agents.
