Police yesterday turned up at the Saltus Grammar School's Woodland's Road entrance to respond to a report of a disturbance.

But when officers arrived on scene, around 6 p.m., a group of people scattered and the complainant refused to give Police any information about the incident.

A Police spokesperson last night said there were no "major" injuries and noted that when officers left the scene, everything was back to normal.

However, when The Royal Gazette turned up, onlookers said a fight had just taken place.

One student, who would not be named, said: "I don't know the whole story but I just saw two guys running down the street."
