LONDON (Bloomberg) — Omega Insurance Holdings, a Lloyd's of London insurer, said first-half profit almost tripled on the Specialty unit.

Net income for the six months ended June 30 rose to $16.3 million, from $6.6m a year earlier, Bermuda-based Omega said in a statement distributed by the Regulatory News Service. Revenue more than doubled to $83.5m.
