Lazard has named former UBS man Ken Costa as chairman of its international division to lead its UK investment banking business alongside William Rucker, CEO of Lazard in London.

Mr. Costa will join the financial advisory and asset management firm in October from UBS, where he was chairman of investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Lazard is also hiring Michael Murray as a managing director focusing on the technology industry in Boston.

He joins from Deutsche Bank AG. While, Mark Dolins, from Cowen Group, will be director of Lazard's new Boston office.
