The first Harbour Nights street festival of 2008 starts this evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The tourist event means Front Street will be closed from 6 p.m. to make way for more than 70 vendors and entertainers.

Tonight will see a fireworks display on the harbour sponsored by Bank of Bermuda at 9.30 p.m. Other attractions include arts and crafts, face painting, live music, dancing, Gombeys, Bermuda Regiment, train rides and a food court.
