A 61-year-old man who fell into St. George’s Harbour while drunk on New Year’s Day is still in intensive care at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

A hospital spokeswoman said yesterday that the St. George’s man was in a stable condition.

He was rescued by a member of the public on Monday afternoon after he fell about nine feet off a wall at Ordnance Island into the water.
