In a story in Saturday's paper on tourism numbers, the toll free information number 1-800-Bermuda, was incorrectly stated as costing $300,000 a year.
Three hundred thousand was the number of calls the information line received when it was first put in place 15 years ago. Now the phone number only receives close to 12,000 because more tourists are researching online, leading the Government, according to Sen. Caines to ditch the number.
