BSX up as stocks hit highs

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index jumped 52.18 points or more than one percent yesterday in light trading.
The index closed at 4,934.27 on volume of 3,349 shares worth $58,218.
Watlington Waterworks led gainers, rising $1.40 or 11.1 percent to $14 — its 52-week high — as 1,000 shares changed hands.
Fellow utility KeyTech Ltd. also rose, closing up $1 to its 52-week high of $16.50 on volume of just 400 shares.
And Argus Group also rose, gaining 75 cents to end the day at $13.75 on volume of 1,500 shares.
Trading unchanged were Devonshire industries at $14.50 on volume of 200 and Butterfield Bank $56.50 on volume of 249.
The Bermuda Insurance Index edged down 1.3 points to 1,224.62.
