KFC hits new high

Kentucky Fried Chicken (Bermuda) shares hit a 52-week high on the day the company revealed its half-year net income had halved with declining sales and higher operating cost part of the reason.
KFC (Bermuda) stock went up $1 (16.7 percent) to close at $7 after 2,000 shares were traded.
The only other stock movement was a 10 cent (0.5 percent) decrease in the worth of Butterfield Bank shares, which ended at $20.50 after 28,566 were exchanged.
The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange ended down 14.88 points (0.29 percent) at 5,115.82 after a total of 30,566 shares were traded representing a value of $599,603.
