The trading of 20,764 Butterfield Bank shares resulted in them improving in value by five cents (0.2 percent) to close at $21.15, having dropped by the same amount a day earlier.

However, the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange fell marginally after BF&M shares lost 65 cents (3.4 percent) to close at $18.50 after 767 shares were exchanged.

There was also trading of 2,500 shares in LOM (Holdings), however that did not affect the closing price of $3.75.

The BSX closed at 5,257, down 0.63 (0.01 percent) after a total of 24,031 shares switched hands, representing a value of $462,734.25.
