A 37-year-old Paget man who crashed his car into a wall and suffered a minor head injury was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

Officers attended the single vehicle road traffic collision at around 4.10 a.m. on Saturday, on Harbour Road in Paget, near the junction with Chapel Road.

According to Police, it appears the car was travelling west when the driver lost control of his car. After his arrest, the driver was detained after he failed the alco-analyser test.

The car took on front and back damage. Police are investigating.
