Veteran local runner Mark Albouy competed in three events last week at the USA Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Running at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Centre in Boston, the Swan’s Running Club stalwart placed ninth out of ten in the male 50 or over 3,000 metres in a time of 11 minutes 1.28 seconds while in the one mile run he finished 15th out of 16 in 5.40.38.

In the 800 metres, Albouy placed second to last once again (14th out of 15) in a time of 2.35.59.
