Rebello's men Blaze a trail
Boulevard coach John Rebello believes his side has what it takes to go all the way this season.
First Division soccer takes centre stage this weekend with Premier Division teams enjoying a week off.
And front-runners Boulevard, who were held to a 2-2 draw last weekend by chief title rivals Somerset Eagles, have a tricky fixture at BAA Field against unpredictable Hamilton Parish.
Rebello, who has first hand knowledge of Parish's lethal striker, Irving Burgess, who he coached at Vasco, said he was taking the challenge seriously.
"We are going to approach this match just as we would any other, whether it be against Eagles, Paget or Social Club," he said. "I feel that if we put in the required effort, then we will reap the benefits come season's end.
"We take every training session and every game seriously - our approach against Parish will be no different."
Somerset Eagles, coming off of a 3-0 win over Southampton Rangers in the Shield competition, will welcome the opportunity for a festive feast at White Hill Field where they host lowly Paget.
At Police Field, Prospect take on St. David's and Southampton Rangers will continue their pursuit of a first win under new coach Ronue Cann. They should get it courtesy of Young Men's Social Club, who failed to field a team for their last outing and sit bottom of the standings.
