Duffy aims for big finish

Triathlete Flora Duffy will be looking to follow up her sensational top ten World Cup finish in Hamburg two weeks ago with a similar performance in Beijing this weekend.

The world junior silver medallist has been in the Chinese capital all week preparing for what she?s said will be her last major race of the year and is set to start the race at 10 p.m. Bermuda time today.

The Beijing World Cup race will be held on the 2008 Olympic course ? a Games Duffy is very likely to qualify for given her results this year.

The 18th annual Capital G Iron Kids Triathlon gets underway today from noon until 5 p.m..

While the triathlon itself starts at 3 p.m. at Clearwater Beach, there are plenty of other activities surrounding the popular event, including a Beach Olympics.
