Local coaches and sports administrators are being encouraged to attend a mini-Sports Conference, hosted by the Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation this weekend.

According the a Department spokesman, the Saturday conference at the new hall in the Bermuda College will be a ?unique opportunity for all sporting bodies to gather information that will assist them with the further development of sports at their various organisations?.

Registration fee is $15 and registration forms are now available at the Department on the second floor of the Perry Building, next to The Market Place on Church Street, Hamilton. Registration deadline is today (Monday).

The conference will include a presentation on The Club?s Report, headed by Rolfe Commissiong, and four breakout sessions on fund raising for events, proper protocol, preparation for international games and the function of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Council.
