Khano Smith is waiting for a phonecall that could change his life.

The Dandy town striker impressed on trials with New England Revolution in Ecuador and is all ready to throw in his job as a teacher at Dellwood Middle School if the Major League Soccer side come a-begging.

?Teaching can wait,? said Smith, after what could have been his last game for the Hornets.

?It has always been my dream to play professional football and hopefully it will happen. There is nothing official at the moment, so I can?t really say much but I am hoping for a call from them this week.
