Visitor's View: Airport singer is depressing
Created: May 30, 2006 11:00 AM
I want to congratulate Ewart Brown, the tourism chief, for bringing tourism to a whole new level. This is my third trip here. But upon entering Bermuda at the airport to greet visitors, there was an entertainer who sang so sadly and looked so sad, one would assume he was moaning as opposed to singing. You need someone who can really sing and smile at the same time. This was not a greeting for visitors.

Dear Sir,
I want to congratulate Ewart Brown, the tourism chief, for bringing tourism to a whole new level. This is my third trip here.
But upon entering Bermuda at the airport to greet visitors, there was an entertainer who sang so sadly and looked so sad, one would assume he was moaning as opposed to singing. You need someone who can really sing and smile at the same time. This was not a greeting for visitors.
Many of my business partners were upset and found the entertainment boring.
Hope to see an improvement on my next visit.
