Taxi Gentleman

Dear Sir,

During my recent trip back to Bermuda I had the misfortune to trip on the sidewalk in Middle Road, Paget, just opposite S Hill. Before I could stop myself falling, I was flat on my face.

A very nice taxi driver stopped and came back to me to check I was OK. He then took me in his taxi to my cousin's house on South Road. He refused to discuss money and I'm sorry I didn't get his name or taxi number.

Luckily I wasn't hurt, just shaken and a bit bruised. I would like to use this medium to thank the taxi driver for his help and I hope he will read this column. He is a true Bermudian Gentleman!
