The current head of the Bermuda Hospitals Board, Joan Dillas-Wright, will not be retiring at the end of this month as previously announced but will continue in her post until March next year.

Mrs. Dillas-Wright has decided to continue as hospitals CEO, a role which oversees the running of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute. A spokesperson said the succession committee is now in the process of selecting a replacement CEO to take over after March.
