The price of gas at local pumps jumped 3.4 cent on Friday with the Ministry of Finance announcing that the maximum price for gasoline was $1.58 per litre or almost $6 a gallon. Diesel and kerosene prices however dropped on Friday. Diesel fell 1.3 cents to $1.38 cents per litre or $5.20 a gallon while kerosene fell 2.3 cents to $1.23 cents per litre or $4.27 a gallon.
