The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 22.80 points yesterday to close yesterday at 4,826.46.

On a quiet of trading on the Exchange, Argus rose 30 cents to close at $14.50 as investors traded in 836 shares.

The only other activity on the Exchange saw Butterfield Bank gain 25 cents to close at $56.50 on volume of 114 shares.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $18,431.00 and the overall volume of shares traded was 950.
