The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday jumped 185.58 points to close at 2,430.89.

The Bank of Bermuda posted a $6 gain in trading with its share price closing at $39 while just 100 shares moved. On the Nasdaq, the bank's shares closed at $35.60.

The Bank of Butterfield had the highest volume of trading yesterday when 101,242 shares changed hands while the bank's stock value remained at $31.

Watlington Waterworks traded 29 shares.
