The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 13.23 points yesterday to close at 4,864.45.

On a day of light trading, Butterfield Bank was the only issue to change price as it fell 25 cents to close at $58.25 as investors traded in 3,313 shares.

BF&M traded in 2,500 shares to close unchanged at $15, Bermuda Container Line traded in 2,500 shares to close unchanged at $15 and 31 Belco shares changed hands to close unchanged at $21.20.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $232,513.40 and the overall volume of shares was 5,944.
