VIPs toast opening of AWAC HQ

Allied World Assurance Company Ltd. (AWAC) officially opened their new offices in the Bermuda Commercial Bank Building on Victoria Street yesterday. Allied World Assurance Company, Ltd (AWAC) last night celebrated the official opening of its Bermuda headquarters at the Bermuda Commercial Bank Building on Victoria Street, Hamilton with a cocktail reception attended by over 300 representatives from the reinsurance industry and the Bermuda business community.
The event was hosted by Mr. Maurice R. Greenberg, chairman of the Board for Allied World Assurance Holdings, Ltd and chairman and chief executive officer of American International Group, Inc., Mr. Michael I. D. Morrison, AWAC's president and CEO, the board of directors and the company's executive and management team.Guests included Premier Jennifer Smith.
