Bermuda's soccer hero Shaun Goater went to Buckingham Palace in London yesterday after being made a Member of the British Empire by the Queen. He took along the two most important women in his life, his mother Lynette (left) and wife Anita. Goater received the award in recognition of his service to the sport and young people by holding soccer clinics every summer for the past several years. Goater, 33, now plays for First Division team Reading but has been sidelined with a knee injury.
