Governor meets with Corporation of Hamilton

Rena Lalgie, the Governor, formally met with the Corporation of Hamilton’s Council at City Hall yesterday.

Charles Gosling, the Mayor of Hamilton, said: “This is truly a historic occasion for us – having the honour of hosting Bermuda’s first black Governor and also our first female Governor.

“The City has enjoyed a longstanding friendship with Government House and we very much look forward to furthering that relationship with Governor Lalgie.”
