An insurance company went the extra mile with its charity toy drive.
BF&M encouraged its employees to donate gifts to the Toys for Tots drive, run by the Coalition for The Protection of Children and sponsored by HSBC, by committing $50 for every gift donated.
Staff donated 200 toys, raising $10,000 which funded the purchase of groceries, utility vouchers, toiletries, school uniforms and other essentials for families in need.
John Wight, group chairman and chief executive for BF&M, said: “We know it’s been a rough year for so many in our community, so this year we wanted to make the drive bigger and better than ever.
“Our staff gave to the cause with that BF&M passion that makes me so proud to be CEO of this company.”
