A medical practice has made a $10,000 donation to the Pembroke Hamilton Club as part of a 12-year promise of support.

The donation from Bermuda Healthcare Services was the second made by the healthcare provider to help bolster the community and sports club’s football programme for the 2021-2022 season.

A $10,000 donation was handed over last October.

Michael Trott, the PHC president, thanked BHCS for its support of its programmes.

Ewart Brown, the founder of BHCS and its executive chairman, said the financial aid was a “civic duty”.

Dr Brown added: “We regard PHC as a strong community organisation in direct contact with hundreds of young people.

“Their programme positively impacts the lives of parents and children.”
