Apex Group Ltd, the Bermudian-based global financial services provider, has appointed Keith Mahon as managing director, Bermuda.

The company said Mr Mahon would be responsible for leading the business and to continue the development and growth of Apex’s business in Bermuda.

As Apex continues to evolve its single-source solution, the company said, Mr Mahon would also drive the delivery of the group’s innovative services and tools for digital asset funds in Bermuda.

Mr Mahon is a returning Apex employee, having served in various management roles across Apex’s Toronto, Uruguay and Mauritius locations.

In recent years, he has drawn on his decades of experience to build a portfolio of consultancy and COO roles globally, with a focus on capital raising and renewable energy.

Before joining Apex in 2010, Mr Mahon held numerous senior fund administration and accounting roles, including at Beacon Fund Services and Citi Hedge Fund Services, based in Bermuda and BNY Mellon in Ireland.

The company said Apex Bermuda offered a comprehensive range of fund, financial and corporate solutions and provided clients with global access to the widest range of high-quality services in the industry, including pioneering digital banking and ESG ratings and advisory offering, underpinned by best-in-class technology platforms.

Peter Hughes, founder and CEO of Apex Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Keith back to Apex. He brings extensive international experience and deep local expertise to his position as managing director of Apex Bermuda.

“Over the last 18 months, Bermuda has shown itself to be a resilient and adaptable financial hub, with a robust but flexible regulatory framework and we see huge opportunity for growth in areas such as ESG and digital assets.

“Keith will play an important role in delivering innovative and high-quality services to our clients in Bermuda.”

Established in 2003, Bermuda was the location of Apex’s first office. Since then, the group has grown to more than 50 offices as one of the world’s leading financial services providers, offering a single-source solution to the market across $2.2 trillion in client assets.
