Biometric testing for visa applications will be available for two days next month, Government House announced yesterday.

Biometric scans are needed for British visa applications.

The testing, to be done by the VFS Global Team will visit Bermuda on March 9 and 10.

Appointments time slots are open and tests will be carried out from 8am to 3pm both days.

Appointments can only be booked at https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/bm/en/vacs/hamilton.

The tests will be carried out at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Crow Lane, Pembroke, and will follow strict Covid-19 guidelines.

Applicants will need to bring the required documents with them — their passport and appointment confirmation — to their appointments.

If the customer purchased document-scanning assistance they should also bring the supporting documents.
