Bermudian-based Fidelis has named John Symms as head of outwards insurance.The company said Mr Symms will co-ordinate all aspects of engagement with reinsurers across all segments of the business. The aim is to support the growth of Fidelis’s reinsurance partnerships and the increasingly important quota-share relationships across multiple lines of business.Mr Symms will works with Phil Vandoninck in his role as chief executive officer of Socium, Fidelis’s partnerships pillar.
